Follow your providers

Upstreamr reads your providers’ notices every hour and keeps the ones that match where you rent. They wait in your admin until you tell your customers yourself.

Free plan: 1 provider location. Paid plan: 3 included, then €3 a month each.

Notices are checked every hour. See every location

Guides and contents

Add the locations you rent in

Upstreamr follows OVHcloud (down to the rack or room) and Hetzner (down to the datacenter building). See every location

  1. Go to Upstream providers → Add location and pick the provider and its sites.
  2. Tick the Services you use there. With none ticked, every service matches. Infrastructure notices (power, cooling, network) always match.
  3. Optionally list your OVHcloud racks or rooms or Hetzner datacenter buildings, one per line. A notice that names a rack or building then matches only when it’s one of yours.
  4. Select Add location.

What matches

A notice reaches your admin when it’s about one of your sites and one of your services:

  • Location: the provider site you picked.
  • Rack, room or building: only when you listed yours and the notice names one.
  • Service: only the services you use. Provider-wide notices match too, when they’re about a service you use.

Feeds are checked every hour; Sync now checks at once. Upstreamr relays what providers publish: it can’t see an incident a provider doesn’t publish. Your own monitors cover those.

Review what matched

Matched notices are under Incidents → Upstream, marked To review; the Incidents menu item counts them. Original opens the provider’s own notice and Acknowledge marks it as read. They aren’t on your status page, and nobody has been notified.

Upstreamr admin, Incidents, Upstream tab: two OVHcloud notices to review, a LIM3 electrical maintenance and the LIM3 cooling maintenance for rack LIM0301B02C on Thu 5 Nov 2026, 06:00 to 15:00 UTC. Example organisation.

Tell your customers

When a notice matters to your customers, post your own update: Incidents → Report incident or Schedule maintenance. Choose the affected components and pages and keep Notify subscribers on.

A maintenance starts and ends on its own at the times you set.
